With the exception of our 4th tug “Baycliffe” which was built for us  by ” Dave Matthews at Jack Matthews Marine” in Port Dover, the fleet was designed,fabricated and built by Coulson Bros at our Weld shop.  Each one uniquely different.

At Coulson Bros. there are virtually no size or weight limits on what we can barge for you.

Our Muskoka Lakes Barging Services are headquartered from Milford Bay and service all water access properties on Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph. We service a large area to and from islands as well as mainland properties.

Summer barging is an ideal way to supply remote locations with everything from household goods and building materials (right up to transporting your hot tub and bringing the crane to install it!) . We’ve even hauled massive heavy machinery well over 170,000 lbs. and 30′ long.

For some clients, we haul their equipment to site at the end of summer so it’s ready to get straight to work on freeze up.
